The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the Pyramids in the Giza Pyramid. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The Giza Pyramid Complex, also called the Giza Necropolis, is the site on the Giza Plateau in Greater Cairo, Egypt that includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza. All were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt, between 2600 and 2500 BC. The site also includes several cemeteries and the remains of a worker’s village.
Then we drive to a plateau from a wonderful panoramic view of the three pyramids of Giza.
The Great Sphinx of Giza, commonly referred to as the Sphinx of Giza, Great Sphinx or just the Sphinx, is colossal limestone statue of a recumbent sphinx located in Giza, Egypt, that likely dates from the reign of King Khafre (c. 2575–c. 2465 BCE) and depicts his face. It is one of Egypt’s most famous landmarks and is arguably the best-known example of sphinx art.
After visiting the pyramids and the Sphinx, you will have an oriental lunch at a local restaurant. Then you go to your next destination:
The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, known commonly as the Egyptian Museum or the Cairo Museum, in Cairo, Egypt, is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. It has 120,000 items, with a representative amount on display and the remainder in storerooms. Built in 1901 by the Italian construction company, Garozzo-Zaffarani, to a design by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon, the edifice is one of the oldest and largest archaeological museums in the Middle East.
After the final tour and detailed explanations from your guide, you will have transfer back to your hotel.

After lunch on board, enjoying the view of the beauty and atmosphere of Aswan with its green islands and red granite boulders, take an excursion around the city. The first distination on the tour today is a boat trip to the Nile island of Agilika. The last great sanctuary of the ancient Egyptian religion, the magical one, awaits you there:
The Philae Temple was dedicated to Goddess Isis of Love and beauty. The Temple complex was dismantled and relocated to nearby Island of Agilkia Island in Aswan. Is one of the last Temples to ever be built in Egypt. It also contains the remains of Several Ancient Temples. A great deal of information about the mythology of ancient Egypt was known through this temple like the Myth of Osiris.
Then you will visit the imposing dam, which dams the Nile to Lake Nasser, and the construction of which has had many positive and negative effects:
This was built across the Nile at Aswan, and has had a significant effect on the economy and culture of Egypt. Aswan High Dam is a water dam located on the Nile River in the southern part of the Republic of Egypt. The dam controls the Nile water flow rate and reduces the effects of its flood. It is also used to generate electricity in Egypt.
After your tour in Aswan, you will be transferred to your Nile cruise ship for embarkation

Close to the river Nile, the Kom Ombo Temple was built during the Ptolemaic period between 180 BC and 47 AD. The limestone temple was built by men on elephants and was dedicated to 2 primary Egyptian gods: Sobek and Horus the Elder, gaining it the dual names of ‘House of the Crocodile’ and ‘Castle of the Falcon’.
After the Kom Ombo Temple, your dream trip continues and the ship sets off towards Edfu. In the afternoon you will visit one of the best preserved temples in Egypt:
A majestic Temple, it has been considered to be the best-preserved cult Temple in Egypt. According to ancient Egyptian mythology, it was the place where the falcon-headed God Horus revenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth. The Temple of Edfu is located on the West Bank of the Nile in Edfu.
After visiting the Edfu Temple, the ship sails from Edfu through the lock town of Esna to Luxor, ancient Thebes. Relax on the sundeck and look back on what you have experienced while the wonderful Nile landscape glides past you.
After breakfast on board, you will drive to Thebes-West with your guide. The first highlight of the day awaits you:
Also known as the Valley of the Gates of the Kings, is a valley in Egypt where, for a period of nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC, rock-cut tombs were excavated for the pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom. It was part of the ancient city of Thebes and was the burial site of almost all the kings (pharaohs) of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties (1539–1075 BCE), from Thutmose I to Ramses X. In 1922 Englishman Howard Carter discovered the Tomb of Tutankhamun with its golden treasures.

The Temple of Hatshepsut is a mortuary temple built during the reign of Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. Located opposite the city of Luxor, it is considered to be a masterpiece of ancient architecture. Its three massive terraces rise above the desert floor and into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Hatshepsut was a female pharaoh who had herself represented pictorially as a male. She served as co-regent with her nephew Thutmose III (c.1479-1425 B.C.E.).
Enjoy the view of Luxor and the Nile Valley from the terraces of the temple, then continue visit:
The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who reigned in Egypt during the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. Since 1350 BCE, they have stood in the Theban Necropolis, located west of the River Nile from the modern city of Luxor. The Colossi Twin Statues are the still standing to welcome the visitors until our day.

The Karnak Temple Complex, commonly known as Karnak, comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings near Luxor, Egypt. It is a city of temples built over 2,000 years and dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. This derelict place is still capable of overshadowing many wonders of the modern world and in its day must have been awe-inspiring.
After the last visit, the day ends in Luxor and your Nile cruise ends and you have a private transfer to your hotel for your relaxing beach holiday on the Red Sea.
