Day 1- Fly to Cairo – Hotel Check In

For your Egypt luxury tour holiday Cairo, Nile cruise by Dahabeya you fly to Cairo today. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide who will assist you through passport control formalities. During the subsequent transfer to your 5 Star Hotel You will get a first impression of the lively life of Cairo, the largest city in Africa. Upon arrival at the hotel, your guide will help you check in, after which you can enjoy your first evening in Cairo in the luxurious ambience of your hotel.

Day 2- The Giza Pyramids / Egyptian Museum

This day begins with a tour of the greatest highlights of Cairo – after breakfast you will drive with your guide to some fabulous sites.

Pyramids of Giza

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the Pyramids in the Giza Pyramid. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. The Great Pyramid of Khufu is one of 104 Pyramids in Egypt with superstructure. And there are 54 Pyramids with substructure. The Great Pyramids belongs to “King Khufu” we know that the number of stones used in construction is 2,300,000 and it took 20 years to be built.

The Sphinx

The Sphinx has the body of a lion and the head of a man. This is before the Khafre Pyramid. The Arab historian al-Maqrīzī, writing in the 15th century, attributes the loss of the nose al-Dahr to Muhammad Sa’im a Sufi Muslim from the Khanqah of Sa’id al-Su’ada in 1378, who found the local peasants making offerings to the Sphinx in the hope of increasing their harvest and therefore defaced the Sphinx in an act.

Proceed to have your lunch at a local restaurant in Cairo. Then we will move onto your next visit.

Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is the World’s Largest Museum of ancient Egyptian treasures and houses a unique collection of finds from 5,000 years of Egyptian history. Particularly impressive are the famous golden treasures of Tutankhamun Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to King Tutankhamen collection of Treasure, Gold, and Jewelry

After your visit, you will be escorted back to your hotel.

Day 3- Flight to Luxor / Thebes East

Your stay in the immortal city of Cairo ends today. After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and transfer to Cairo Airport, then you will fly to your next destination on this Egypt tour: to Luxor, the “City of Palaces”. At Luxor Airport you will be met by our tour guide and accompanied to your Dahabeya and embarkation.

Your Egypt tour guide, a qualified English-speaking Egyptologist, will accompany you on board the ship for the entire Nile cruise and will also conduct the sightseeing.

Karnak Temple

In the Karnak Temple Complex there is no site in Egypt that is more impressive than Karnak Temple. Which was built more than two thousand years ago. It is the largest Temple complex ever built by man and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Karnak Temple Complex, commonly known as Karnak, comprises a vast mix of Decayed Temples, Chapels, Pylons, and other buildings near Luxor, in Egypt.  

Then we take you onto your next journey.

The Luxor Temple

Luxor Temple is one of the most important and beautiful landmarks to be visited by many tourists on the East Bank of the Nile. In the heart of the city of Luxor, you will find the Luxor Temple, built by Amemophis III and Ramses II was built. Even Alexander the Great built a chapel for the ancient Egyptian Gods, At the Luxor Temple you can see a part of the Sphinx Avenue,

After the sightseeing, the first day ends in Luxor and you will be brought back to your Dahabeya.

Day 4- Thebes West

After a leisurely breakfast on board, you will drive to Thebes-West with your guide. The first highlight of the day awaits you

The Valley of The Kings

Let yourself be enchanted by the more than 3000 years old, wonderful murals in the Tombs of the Pharaohs. So far, 64 graves have been found in the Valley of the Kings, of which you can visit three. In the Valley of the Kings are the Tombs of the Kings of the New Kingdom. In 1922 Englishman Howard Carter discovered the Tomb of Tutankhamun with its golden treasures.

We leave this unique valley and the magical atmosphere and go onto another magical place.

The Hatshepsut Temple

This is also known as the Djeser-Djeseru, is a mortuary Temple of Ancient Egypt located in Upper Egypt Temple of Hatshepsut was an ancient funerary shrine commissioned for the Pharaoh Hatshepsut and located in the Theban Necropolis. The Temple has a great view which makes it one of the most beautiful and best preserved archaeological sites in upper Egypt.

Enjoy the view from the terraces of the temple of Luxor and the Nile Valley, then continue with the drive and with a stop.

The Colossi of Memnon

The first attraction to be encounter in Luxor West Bank is the Colossi of Memnon which was built as a guardian to the Funerary Temple of King Amenhoteb III. The Colossi Twin Statues are still standing to welcome the visitors until our day.

After the last item on the program, you will be accompanied back to your Dahabeya ship.

After lunch on board, the Dahabeya leaves for the Esna lock.

(In the afternoon there is no program, just enjoy the sail on the Dahabeya from Luxor to Esna. You have enough time to relax on your luxury Dahabeya. Find your favorite spot on the Dahabeya and let the typical Egyptian Nile landscape relax you)

Tip of the day: Today you have the opportunity to enjoy the unique view of the ancient treasures of Luxor in a Hot Air Balloon Ride at sunrise over Thebes West. (optional)Amazing views outstanding and worth taking this trip is a must.

Day 5- Edfu / El Ramady Island

Today you will have an extensive breakfast on board, then a visit to one of the best preserved temples in Egypt is on the program. Let’s visit:

The Edfu Temple

A majestic Temple, it has been considered to be the best-preserved cult Temple in Egypt. According to ancient Egyptian mythology, it was the place where the falcon-headed God Horus revenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth. The Temple of Edfu is an Egyptian Temple located on the West Bank of the Nile in Edfu, Upper Egypt It is dedicated to the Falcon God Horus.

After the Edfu Temple, your dreamy journey continues to El Ramady Island, where the Dahabeya docks and you have dinner and spend the night.

Day 6- Kom Ombo / Sheikh Fadel Island

After a leisurely breakfast during the trip, enjoy the wonderful landscape along the Nile to Kom Ombo and in the afternoon visit the Temple located directly on the banks of the Nile:

Kom Ombo Temple

Kom Ombo Temple back in time, the Temple had taken place between the Nubian trade routes and the Gold Mines in the Eastern Desert. The area that the Temple was constructed on used to be a favorite spot for the crocodiles to lay under the sun on the Nile shore, so it’s makes sense now to be dedicated to the crocodile god. Some renovations were made later, such as the Hypostyle Hall.

After visiting the Kom Ombo Temple, we continue by boat to Sheikh Fadel Island, where the Dahabeya docks.

Day 7- Aswan Program / Old Cataract Hotel

In the early morning we continue upstream by boat to Aswan. After your last breakfast on board of the Dahabeya, where you can enjoy the view of the beauty and atmosphere of the city of Aswan with its Green Islands and Red Granite Rocks, you will check out. Then take an excursion to the surrounding area of ​​the city.

The first item on the program is a boat trip to the Nile Island of Agilika. The last great sanctuary of the ancient Egyptian religion, the magical one, awaits you there.

Philae Temple

Day 8- Optional Excursion to Abu Simbel

Today you have free or you have the opportunity for a private excursion to Abu Simbel.

Abu Simbel is two massive rock-cut Temples in the village of Abu Simbel, A huge 3,000-year-old monument to Ramesses II, the two Temples of Abu Simbel are of the great sun Temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Queen Nefertari, which was built by Ramses II to his favorite wife Queen Nefertari among his other 200 wives and concubines. With their unique style, this is considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. This fantastic monument is one of the best places to visit in Egypt.

The trip to Abu Simbel starts early in the morning. You drive through the desert with a private vehicle and your private English-speaking tour guide and experience the sunrise during the outward journey – on the way back from Abu Simbel you will be able to admire the mirage.

After the excursion you will have lunch, after which you will have free time. You can explore Aswan on your own or relax by the pool of your luxury hotel.

Day 9- Flight Back Home

Today it is unfortunately time to say goodbye to Egypt and the magical Nile! You will be picked up from your hotel by private transfer and escorted to Aswan Airport, then fly back home from Aswan via Cairo.
