Day 01 Arrival in Cairo - Welcome to land of the Pharaoh’s

An Egypt Holiday Service Representative will assist you at Cairo International Airport and provides the Entry Visa. Then transfer to your hotel in Cairo by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. Check in to 5* hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 2Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing

Breakfast at your Hotel in Cairo and then your guide will join you to visit:
Giza Pyramid Complex:
The complex includes three main pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, six little pyramids, the great sphinx and the Valley Temple. The complex dates back to the 4th dynasty 2400 years B.C.
The Great Pyramid:
The Great Pyramids belongs to “King Khufu” It is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids of Giza plateau and the only one to remain intact from the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. The height of the great pyramid is 147 M, the number of stones used in construction is 2,300,000 and it took twenty years to be built.
The Great Sphinx:
It was built by “King Chephren“, it is the largest statue in the world, standing 73 m. long, 19 m. wide, and 20 m height. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture.
The Valley Temple:
A Granite mortuary temple used by Ancient Egyptians for the mummification process and this is the only remaining one at Giza plateau.

The Egyptian Museum:
The museum displays a collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920 when his tomb was excavated.
Continue driving to Islamic Cairo and explore :
Khan El Khalili Bazaar:
No visit to Cairo is Complete without a stop at the Khan El-Khalili bazaar, the bazaar is the oldest and the most famous in the Middle East. It was constructed in 970 AD, the same year as the founding of Cairo.
Transfer back to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 3Fly Cairo to Luxor - Nile Cruise

Check out from Cairo hotel after breakfast. Then Transfer to Cairo Airport for the flight to Luxor, upon arrival to Luxor you will be transferred to board your 5* Nile Cruise ship before lunch.

Karnak Temple:
No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak Temple. Was built more than two thousand years ago, it is the largest temple complex ever built by man and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples situated on 247 acres of land.
Luxor Temple:
The Temple of Luxor was the center of the most important festival, the festival of Opet. Built largely by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, the temple’s purpose was as a setting for the rituals of the festival. The festival was to reconcile the human aspect of the ruler with the divine office.

Day 4Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions

Early Breakfast on board then join your private Egyptology tour guide to visit:
Valley of the Kings:
The final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty, it is home to tombs including the great pharaoh Ramses II and boy pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. Most of the decoration inside the tombs still well preserved.
Hatshepsut Temple:
It is one of the most beautiful & best preserved of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together.
Colossi of Memnon:
Two massive stone statues of king Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone which exist in Cairo then moved 700 KM to Luxor.

Day 5Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Early sail to Edfu while enjoying your breakfast on board with fascinating view around the Nile Valley, then visit:
Edfu Temple:
Dedicated to God Horus, Edfu temple considers the most preserved Greco-Roman temple all over Egypt and on its walls portrayed a “Play” shows the overcome of Horus over the devil god Seth.
Lunch on board and continue sail to Kom Ombo, your tour guide will escort you to visit:
KomOmbo Temple:
A temple overlooking the Nile, This temple divided into two temples of two gods Sobek&Haeroris with two entrances and two hypostyle Halls, and two sanctuaries.
Back to the cruise ship, dinner and overnight in Komombo.

Day 6Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Continue sailing to Aswan, breakfast on board. Upon arrival to Aswan you will join your guide to explore Aswan visiting:
The High Dam:
It was built across the Nile at Aswan and was constructed between 1960 and 1970, and has had a significant effect on the economy and culture of Egypt.
The Unfinished Obelisk:
The largest obelisk in ancient time, It was ordered by Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC) to complement the Lateran Obelisk (which was originally at Karnak} and was later brought to the Lateran Palace in Rome.
Philae Temple:
The temple dedicated to goddess Isis of Love and beauty. The temple complex was dismantled and relocated to nearby Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project, protecting this and other complexes before the 1970 completion of the Aswan High Dam.

Day 7The Nile Cruise – Disembarkation
