Day 01Arrival Cairo - Welcome to Egypt

Welcome to Cairo
An Egypt Holiday Service Representative will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport, then he will escort you to the hotel by an exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel your representative will assist you with the check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour.

Day 2Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing

After breakfast you will be accompanied by your private Egyptologist tour guide to visit:

Giza Pyramid Complex:
The complex includes three main pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, six little pyramids, the great sphinx and the Valley Temple. The complex dates back to the 4th dynasty 2400 years B.C.
The Great Pyramid:
The Great Pyramids belongs to “King Khufu” It is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids of Giza plateau and the only one to remain intact from the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. The height of the great pyramid is 147m, the number of stones used in construction is 2,300,000 and it took twenty years to be built.
The Great Sphinx:
It was built by “King Chephren“, it is the largest statue in the world, standing 73 m. long, 19 m. wide, and 20 m height. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture.
The Valley Temple:
A Granite mortuary temple used by Ancient Egyptians for the mummification process and this is the only remaining one at Giza plateau.

The Egyptian Museum:
The museum displays a collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920 when his tomb was excavated.
Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore:
Khan El Khalili Bazaar:
No visit to Cairo is Complete without a stop at the Khan El-Khalili bazaar, the bazaar is the oldest and the most famous in the Middle East. It was constructed in 970 AD, the same year as the founding of Cairo.
Back to hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 3Fly Cairo to Luxor - Valley of the Kings Tours

After breakfast, check out from hotel at early morning then transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor, upon arrival our representative will be waiting for you, then transfer you to your hotel to check in. After lunch you will start the tour to:
Valley of the Kings:
The final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty, it is home to tombs including the great pharaoh Ramses II and boy pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs. Most of the decoration inside the tombs still well preserved.
Hatshepsut Temple:
It is one of the most beautiful & best preserved of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together.
Colossi of Memnon:
Two massive stone statues of king Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone which exist in Cairo then moved 700 KM to Luxor.
Back to your hotel in Luxor and overnight in Luxor.
Optional trip to Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temples.

Day 4Luxor Sightseeing - Fly to Cairo

After breakfast, you will join your private Egyptologist in Luxor to visit:
Karnak Temple:
No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak Temple. Was built more than two thousand years ago, It is the largest temple complex ever built by man and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples situated on 247 acres of land.
Luxor Temple:
The Temple of Luxor was the center of the most important festival, the festival of Opet. Built largely by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, the temple’s purpose was as a setting for the rituals of the festival. The festival was to reconcile the human aspect of the ruler with the divine office.
Then you will be transferred to Luxor airport for flight to Cairo, where you will be met and assisted at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
