Itinerary

Day 1:Makadi Bay / Luxor Tour

Our representative will pick you up from the hotel in Makadi Bay and drive to Luxor to start 5 days Nile cruise tour.
Upon arrival to Luxor you will embark onboard the Nile Cruise boat before lunch time, then after lunch onboard you will visit:

Day 1:Karnak Temple

No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak Temple. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples situated on 247 acres of land

Day 1:Luxor Temple

The Temple of Luxor was the center of the most important festival, the festival of Opet. Built largely by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, the temple’s purpose was as a setting for the rituals of the festival. The festival was to reconcile the human aspect of the ruler with the divine office.
After that you will be back to the cruise boat to have your dinner and overnight onboard.

Day 2:The Valley of the Kings

The final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty, it is home to tombs including the great pharaoh Ramses II and boy pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world. Most of the decoration inside the tombs still well preserved.

Day 2:Hatshepsut Temple

It is one of the most beautiful & best preserved of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together.

Day 2:Colossi of Memnon

Two massive stone statues of king Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone which exist in Cairo then moved 700 KM to Luxor.
Back to the Cruise boat and Lunch onboard. Enjoy afternoon tea during sailing to Aswan, Dinner onboard and Overnight in Esna.

Day 3:Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples Tours

Enjoy your breakfast and sail to Edfu, there you will be able to visit the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt,

Day 3:Edfu Temple

Dedicated to God Horus, Edfu temple considers the most preserved Greco-Roman temple all over Egypt and on its walls portrayed a “Play” shows the overcome of Horus over the devil god Seth.
Lunch onboard and continue sailing to Kom Ombo and visit:

Day 3:Kom Ombo Temple

A temple overlooking the Nile, This temple divided into two temples of two gods Sobek & Haeroris with two entrances and two hypostyle Halls, and two sanctuaries.
Then dinner and overnight onboard.

Day 4:Aswan Sightseeing Tour

Continue sailing to the beauty nature city Aswan while enjoying your breakfast onboard after that you will start day tour of Aswan highlights and visit:

Day 4:The High Dam

It was built across the Nile at Aswan and was constructed between 1960 and 1970, and has had a significant effect on the economy and culture of Egypt.

Day 4:The Unfinished Obelisk

The largest obelisk in ancient time, It was ordered by Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC) to complement the Lateran Obelisk (which was originally at Karnak} and was later brought to the Lateran Palace in Rome.

Day 4:Philae Temple

The temple dedicated to goddess Isis of Love and beauty. The temple complex was dismantled and relocated to nearby Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project, protecting this and other complexes before the 1970 completion of the Aswan High Dam.

Day 5:Disembarkation in Aswan - Transfer to Makadi Bay, Red Sea

At morning time, enjoy the breakfast onboard, Disembarkation from the cruise boat, transfer to Aswan train station to catch the 1st class train to Luxor then we drive you back to your hotel in Makadi Bay.
