Travel from Marsa Alam to Aswan. Spend the first day visiting Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk and the High Dam around Aswan. Stay overnight and then head to Abu Simble in the morning before returning to Marsa Alam.

The High Dam
It was built across the Nile at Aswan and was constructed between 1960 and 1970, and has a significant effect on the economy and culture of Egypt.
The Unfinished Obelisk
The largest obelisk in ancient time It was ordered by Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC) to complement the Lateran Obelisk (which was originally at Karnak) and was later brought to the Lateran Palace in Rome.
The temple dedicated to goddess Isis of Love and beauty. The temple complex was dismantled and relocated to nearby Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project, protecting this and other complexes before the 1970 completion of the Aswan High Dam.

Abu Simble Temples
The two Temples of Abu Simble are the great sun temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Queen Nefertari, which was built by Ramses II to his favorite wife Queen Nefertari among other 200 wives and concubines, built during the reign of King Ramses II 1200 B.C. With their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt.
The Temples are rock-cut structures, and both temples were discovered in 1813 it was almost completely covered with sand , Then both temples were moved in 1960 by the help of Egyptian government and UNESCO to avoid the rising water of the Nile.
Ramses II built the temple mostly to honor himself as inside there is a mural depicting his famous victory at Kadesh battle where his army defeated his enemies.
The carvings and artwork that decorate both temples are incredible. Hand carved pillars, wall paintings, carvings, statues, and much more, this is a must visit the place.
After finishing the visit to Abu Simble you will transfer to Aswan for free time tour of Aswan and before 6 o’clock in the evening, you will be transferred by your private vehicle back to your hotel in Marsa Alam .
